چکیده
Background. Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) is the most common inherited heart disease; it characterized by left ventricular (LV) hypertrophy that cannot be explained hemodynamic causes. It believed sarcomere dysfunction underlies pathogenesis of this disease, however, only half patients with HCM phenotype have mutations in sarcomere-encoding genes. distinguished both high genetic and clinical heterogeneity therefore more studies are seeking to investigate a regulation gene expression how abnormalities process can affect disease phenotype. One levels post-transcriptional level mediated short non-coding microRNAs inhibit protein synthesis.
Aim. To identify correlations between circulating microRNAs, previously shown associated HCM, parameters patients.
Materials methods. Correlation analysis miR-499a-5p, miR-454 miR-339-5p plasma 33 patients, examined from 2019 2021, has been performed.
Results. Variants HCM-associated genes were found 49% patients. There no differences genotype-positive genotype-negative MiR-499a-5p correlated LV ejection fraction, diastolic function atrium dimension.
 Conclusion. Levels certain correlate echocardiographic

Echocardiographic spectrum of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
Echocardiographic patterns in 15 patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy were compared with those in 30 healthy persons. Correlations with angiocardiographic data indicated that most of the anatomical abnormalities in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy can be assessed reliably by echocardiography. These include abnormal mitral valve motion, a reduction of the anteroposterior dimension of the left ve...
متن کاملEchocardiographic parameters associated with pulmonary congestion in Chagas cardiomyopathy.
INTRODUCTION Discrepancy between the intensity of pulmonary congestion and the grade of cardiomegaly seems to be a common finding of Chagas cardiomyopathy, in spite of significant systolic dysfunction of the left ventricle. Its mechanism has not been established. The aim of this study was to investigate pulmonary congestion and to analyze if it correlated with Doppler echocardiographic paramete...
متن کاملCardiotrophin-1 plasma levels are associated with the severity of hypertrophy in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
AIMS Cardiotrophin-1 (CT-1) is a cytokine that induces hypertrophy in cardiomyocytes and is associated with left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) in hypertensive patients. The objective of this study was to evaluate whether plasma CT-1 is associated with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). METHODS AND RESULTS The study was performed in 124 patients with HCM. All patients underwent a full clinical...
متن کاملDIFFUSE CORONARY ARTERIAL ECTASIA WITH HYPERTROPHIC CARDIOMYOPATHY
A 40 year old male, a known case of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, was admitted for catheterization. At catheterization and angiography, septum was hypertrophied to about 5cm and diffuse coronary artery aneurysm was revealed. We found no previous report of coronary artery aneurysm in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
متن کاملNeurofibromatosis associated with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
We present a case of an 18-year-old boy with neurofibromatosis type 1 and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy with systolic anteward movement of the anterior leaflet of the mitral valve. Gradient in the left ventricular outflow was 85 mm Hg secondary to subvalvular aortic stenosis with left ventricular diastolic dysfunction. The possibility of a coincidence, or a causal relationship of these 2 conditio...
